Wonderful vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There's some minor paint loss in spots on the gold and could be minor surface scratches on very close inspection. See pictures for more detail.

The backstamp says 'Bavarian Schumann Ariberg' in blue, then there's a stamp with 'Minneapolis Hand Painted Studios in gold. (China decorating was a popular amateur hobby in the late 1880's through the 1940's. Items were often made in Europe and then decorated in the US or Canada).
